We are seeking an Associate Production Planner for our Cut to Length (CTL) division. Join our team:
Shift: Day Shift
Purpose of This Position: Performs tasks associated with the Cut to Length division.
Major Duties:
- Daily production planning, printing batch and creating packets for batch release – updating various spreadsheets.
- Customer Service, both internal and external, supporting customers, vendors, sales, operations and purchasing teams.
- Scanning and filing all office documents.
- Shipping and receiving of loads.
- Answering phones, mail and fax distribution.
- Responsible for maintaining certifications on materials, providing certifications to customers with shipping documentation.
- Problem solving and assisting branch operations with paperwork research. Perform duties in a professional manner that ensures the customer expectations are met with every order.
- Responsible for office equipment, ordering office supplies, various projects from supervisors, backing up co-workers in their absence.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. A college degree preferred.
- Preferred Office, Customer Service and Phone Experience
- 10 Key / Data Entry / Speed and Accuracy is Required
- Microsoft Office and Experience with other software applications.
- Great Attitude, ability to work well with others. Ability to follow instructions.
- Communicate and Write Effectively.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and handle heavy workloads.
