Global Packaging Art is dedicated to meeting our customers’ needs through high quality and timely service by developing and maintaining brand, style, and regulatory integrity on all printed components. Our team consists of two groups that work together to give superior customer service to our partner departments at Herbalife. We are Building It Better by striving for continuous process improvement.

 

 

THE ROLE: 

 

The Associate Production Artist will be responsible for executing the graphic production of printed components for packaging, such as labels, cartons, foils, packets, bottles, and tubes, as well as other print collateral while maintaining standards and ensuring graphic integrity of print-ready files. Primarily focusing on outputting files to various vendors worldwide and reviewing the returned proof requests.

 

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: 

  • Communicate with Management and art production team with project status updates.
  • Implement printed component engineering change order (PCECO) requests.
  • Prepare label files for output to various vendors worldwide to include electronic files, fonts, images, and artwork specifications.
  • Check art proofs from various printers for accuracy of changes, typesetting, and proper positioning of graphic elements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

 

Skills:

Required

 

  • Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
  • Ability to organize workload for effective implementation

  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
  • Ability to function as an effective team member
  • Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves. 
  • Fundamental level proficiency in Adobe CC2022 InDesign and Acrobat Pro.

Experience:

Required

  • 2 years’ experience in graphic design production in creative team (agency or in-house) workflow, processes, and structure
  • Fundamental level of knowledge of layout, type, and color
  • 1 year experience working on workflow system and/or interactive design projects
  • Microsoft Office Word and Excel, on a MAC
  • Must have keen attention to detail, troubleshooting skills

Education:

Required

  • Associates degree in graphic design / print production
