• What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)? 1. Greets patients as they arrive and manage appropriate standard wait times. 2. Complete check-in and check-out tasks to include patient demographic verification, insurance verification, complete pre-authorizations and/or precertification of procedures, and copy required documents. 3. Collects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issues receipts. 4. Manages cashier box and daily deposits according to company policies. 5. Processes walk-in patients and visitors. 6. Periodic disinfection/cleaning of lobby area. 7. Answers phones and schedules appointments. 8. Answer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as needed. 9. Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule). 10. Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc. 11. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
• What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)? Healthcare experience at physician's office or related experience.
• What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)? Minimum 2 years in a high volume incoming/outgoing calls front desk setting/ excellent customer service and good computer knowledge/ EMR knowledge.
• What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)? Must be Bilingual Fluent in Eng and Spa , Experienced working with Geriatrics, Team Player, flexible to change, punctually a plus.

• What are the work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc.)? Monday to Friday (8 am to 5pm) with 1 hour lunch.
• What is the dress code (ex: business casual scrubs etc.)? For Front Desk staff white blouse and black pants or trousers (no jeans, no leggings).
