JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the HRBP Director, this position interprets and executes effective Human Resource policies, programs, and processes to support commercial and corporate team members' needs. Provides HR Business support to multiple client groups in the areas of recruiting, team member complaint investigation/response, performance management, pay administration, capability development, career pathing, and continuous improvement. Works with corporate and commercial management to develop and implement positive culture-building programs, employee recognition, and proactive employee communications. Provides guidance to management on Human Resource policy, Federal, State, and local laws and regulations and corrective actions. Helps to create and implement training for team leader and team member development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide counsel and support to leadership on matters of company policy application, personnel gaps, HR needs and provides HR services to team members.
  • Work with client groups to resolve employee relations issues. Investigate, counsel, and assist in resolving disputes or conflict.
  • Conduct ER investigations, analyze organizational issues, and partner with other HR Director to develop and execute plans to address problem areas.
  • Provide guidance on employment related issues (ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, discrimination, diversity, corrective action, and progressive discipline) to operations leadership.
  • Use data to identify trends in employee related issues, turnover and performance trends and provides solutions to supervisors and managers.
  • Reinforce and model proactive communications, employee engagement, recognition, and appreciation programs.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to achieve talent strategies that align with business goals.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of effective training and development programs, skill proficiency and development needs.
  • Support the development and administration of programs, policies, and processes to facilitate employee and organizational development.
  • Support recruiting efforts and participate in the planning and execution of activities and events to fill all open and seasonal positions in the assigned area.
  • Assist with the organization's performance management process by coaching, educating, and providing feedback to managers/supervisors.
  • Perform other assignments as directed.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
  • Practices strong engagement with all team members, including acceptance of diverse ideas and thoughts, sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve problems, and showing respect.
  • Perform HR audits as assigned.
  • Support and model all company procedures and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources management or related field: Required (combination of relevant work experience and education considered).
  • 3-5 years Human Resource professional experience.
  • PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of enhancing employee work culture.
  • Successfully supported corporate or commercial functions within HR.
  • Possess strong functional expertise in Human Resources, leadership and stakeholder management, communication planning and change management.
  • Training in federal and state laws and application of HR policy in a manufacturing environment and positive employee relations.
  • Must have a valid California Driver's License and be able to drive for the organization.
  • Must have a well-developed attention to detail, including the ability to keep accurate records.
  • Possess excellent verbal & written communication.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position will have to travel on occasion up to 20%.
  • Working environment may be both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to related equipment and noise levels.

COMPENSATION
  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $92,800 - $139,200
  • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position related factors.
