Job Purpose and Impact
The Associate Human Resources Plant Business Partner, will apply basic knowledge to assist in the delivery of employee processes related to people and culture strategy, workforce plans, learning programs and talent activities to improve the employee experience at the plant. In this role, you will provide support to key stakeholders and insights on the plant.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist with the implementation of tools and technologies to gain efficiency in delivering human resource solutions.
- Assist to establish the employee experience with a strong client focus, an environment of collaboration and enablement, effective and successful performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistent adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements by collaborating with legal resources or external consultants to interpret and implement moderately complex policies.
- Assist to execute the design and delivery of human resources services, operations, solutions training and education sessions for various internal stakeholders.
- Understand how metrics are used to proved insights into the performance of the plant and act as the first point of contact for related questions to provide support to the plant supervisors and employees.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to contribute, both as part of a team and individually
- Strong communication skills - written and oral
- Ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
- Advanced skills in using related spreadsheet and presentation applications
- Minimum of two years of experience in a Human resources generalist role
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Basic knowledge of Human Resources Practices and Regulations
- Experience in applying statistical and quality management tools
- Strong leadership and technical skills.
- Demonstrated ability of collaboration, communication, motivation, interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork and successful completion of work.
- Moderate computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, and database navigation)
