What?

This role will support all stages of product development lifecycle and continuous improvement of freeze-dried food products and processes at both the lab and production level.

Main aspects of the role include:

• Acquire and apply knowledge of food science principles, ingredient functionality, and culinary arts to develop and improve freeze-dried formulations.
• Acquire and apply skills to conduct research, execute experiments, gather and analyze data, draw conclusions and solve problems effectively in order to support R&D activities
• Document and maintain accurate and complete records while conducting test to support formulation, process, and specification development.
• Complete project objectives/timelines while maintaining effective communication.

You!

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a closely related field, with food, lab, or science related experiences (such as coursework, internship, job) preferred. The individual should have demonstrated knowledge and familiarly of food processing equipment. In addition, this individual should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to work indepedantely. This individual should be able to taste all food products, including meat, poultry, eggs, seafood, and any other allergens.
