The Associate Financial Advisor II is immersed in all aspects of Member Investment Services including branch operations, client engagement, business development strategies and tactics, product knowledge, and sales processes. Training and development are segmented and facilitated in phases and progression, The learning timeline and addition of responsibilities may vary, contingent on the Associate Financial Advisor II's ability to successfully demonstrate strength and competency in the various developmental areas.
The position is assigned to a regional territory and works under the guidance of assigned Financial Advisor(s) in multiple branch locations with clients, prospects, and credit union staff. The Associate Financial Advisor II also spends a balance of time training at MFCU headquarters under the supervision of Program Management.
Here is what we are looking for:
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent is required, Bachelor's degree in business preferred. Two years of equivalent experience may substitute for every 1-year of education.
Licenses: Securities Industry Essential (SIE), Series 7 and 66 licenses, and State of CA Life Agent licenses are required. Must have a current Driver's License in good standing as driving is a requirement of this position.
Experience: A minimum 3 years of financial services (i.e. Investments, Banking, or other
related field) and Project Management experience is required.

Base Pay/Salary:
$70,000 - $85,000 a year
The base salary range that we expect to pay for this position is $70,000 to $85,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
