The Associate Compliance Specialist is a critical member of the CRM Compliance Operations Team. In this role you will provide support for Sunshine Tracking within the Medical Education department. The primary role of the Associate Compliance Specialist is to ensure compliance with accurate reporting of transfers of value related to healthcare professional interactions. These interactions are primarily through Medtronic events. Critical to this role is the ability to collaborate and align standard business processes to facilitate meeting card reconciliation compliantly.
This role is remote.
A Day in the Life
In depth knowledge of U.S. Sunshine Act ensuring compliance with healthcare professional interactions
Knowledge of company business conduct standards
Support meeting card reconciliation in Concur for Sunshine reporting
Support C.E.U. reporting of healthcare professionals in appropriate system
Maintain updated knowledge of rules, regulations, and standards in the areas of compliance and related matters of interest to the department
Communicate effectively to internal customers via phone, email, and systems
Collaborate cross-functionally to execute tasks in a timely manner
Work individually and with a team in recommending process improvement action
Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other entry-level professionals
Perform various projects as assigned by manager
Travel requirement: Less than 10%
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Provide project or program support to a functional group or business process
Monitor program/project/system status, budget, and timetables
Apply knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation, and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures
Gather and compile information for reporting
Provide technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extractions, review
Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered, these minimum requirements must be evident on your resume:
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years
Nice to Have
Medical Device Industry experience
Familiarity with Concur and Cvent
Familiarity with the U.S. Sunshine Act
Excellent organization and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
Strong relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
