Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, Corporate Operations Transformation Management Office (TMO), this individual will drive Change Management strategy and execution for high priority and impact initiatives originating from the company's Corporate Operations organization which are often highly visible to Gilead's global employees and senior leaders. The person in this role will work with senior leaders, business partners to develop Change Management plans and programs that support large-scale transformations and ensure success of key programs.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Develop and implement fit for purpose and data driven Change Management strategies that enable cross-functional, high impact transformation initiatives
- Be a thought leader by establishing and maintaining Change Management standards and best practices to be leveraged by the Transformation Management Office
- Develop robust communication strategies that effectively cascade information to broad set of stakeholders
- Analyze stakeholders, both individuals and groups, and develop stakeholder management strategies to effectively drive sustainable change
- Adapt messages and stakeholder management techniques to meet the needs of various stakeholders, ranging from executives to line employees
- Identify and manage project risks through effective communication to project teams, project sponsors, and stakeholders
- Design and deliver training programs and knowledge management systems as necessary
- Provide coaching support to key stakeholders to help them navigate and reinforce change effectively
- Work with senior leaders and project teams in identifying organizational impact and developing effective Change Management plans to address them
- Develop and implement impactful story-telling strategies and assets to communicate complex changes such as rationale, benefits and impacts of change to stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of professional experience with majority of time in a Change Management role. Management consulting or client service experience is preferred
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, high-impact, highly complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills based on data and hypothesis development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders at all levels and C-Level executives
- Significant PowerPoint proficiency is a must. Additionally, knowledge of best-of-breed multimedia technologies to creatively communicate complex messages to large audiences is also desirable
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and have nimble ways of working in a fast-paced or unstructured environment

The salary range for this position is: $185,895.00 - $240,570.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
