Job Description
Mater Dei High School, a co-educational college preparatory diocesan catholic high school, has an immediate opening for an Associate Director of Student Activities. The position will be primarily responsible for coordinating, planning, and developing all school spirit activities under the direction of the Executive Director of Student Activities. Some nights and weekend work will be required at various times throughout the year. Office duties will include being a liaison to parent questions, managing Student Activities and assisting volunteers. A high level of creative and innovative thinking to help with the management of all ASB social media accounts. Daily ABS student interaction and guidance will be a part of the duties.
Candidate should be dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love.
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
Certification: CPR
Experience:
- At least 2-3 years' experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft office, Canva and social media platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for the mission and work of the organization
- Supportive in mentoring others and working as a team.
