Position Description:
Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis
The Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis for Global Workplace and Enterprise Services (GWES) finance is responsible for providing timely and effective management reporting and financial analysis for the consolidated GWES Portfolio.
The Associate Director is responsible for consolidating the GWES results to create high-quality, on time, and accurate deliverables to all stakeholders for monthly close results, periodic forecasts and tallies, annual budget and long-range operating and capital plans, with a focus on accurately identifying, analyzing, and articulating key performance drivers.
The Associate Director's role will leverage and utilize digital, automation and analytical tools with a continuous improvement mindset. This position reports to the Executive Director of Financial Planning & Analysis GSMG & GWES.
Primary responsibilities and activities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Consolidation of the Quarterly Forecasts, and Monthly Actuals Reporting, as well as the Long-Range Operating and Capital Plan for the GWES Function
Coordinates with the Global Support Function COE (Center of Excellence) to understand the deliverables required for monthly close results, periodic forecasts and tallies, annual budget and long-range plans.
Manages monthly financial confirmations and consolidated results commentary from sites and areas across the GWES portfolio.
Identify key drivers of performance and distills and clearly articulates insights and risks/opportunities in achieving financial performance objectives.
Manages the GWES Admin budget and forecasts.
Seeks simplification, harmonization and process improvement opportunities, and contributes to ongoing efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within GWES Finance and the broader finance organization.
Provides oversight and analysis of monthly closing process, as well as for monthly close entries including accruals, journal entries, and reclasses.
Manages GWES deliverables to, and in partnership with, various cross-functional stakeholders including quarterly real estate transaction reporting, and Financial Controls Questionnaire (FCQ), Finance integrations (TRAIN), annual property tax analyses, and other global projects.
Participate in projects and assignments, which will require a solid understanding of accounting, financial analysis, financial controls, working knowledge of Company's financial practices, and familiarity with site and Company strategies.
Ensure full compliance with the accounting requirements and to maintain sound financial internal control environment.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum requirement:
Minimum B.A./B.S. Degree.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a finance, accounting, or financial analysis or similar role.
In depth knowledge of SAP and BPC Bridges
Strong computer skills especially working with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while producing high quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
Working knowledge of our company's accounting, financial reporting and planning systems and processes.
Effective and demonstrated strengths in oral and written communication, presentations, organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to develop, articulate and build support around sound financial analytics.
Innovative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Proficiency in PowerBI, PowerApp, and PowerAutomate
Working knowledge of company's fixed assets policy, systems, and processes
Effective problem solving and communication skills (both written and oral)
Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for strategic thinking, quality orientation and attention to detail
Strong customer focus/orientation with an ability to work well in a team environment and foster professional relationships.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
