- Research and understand your target account business problems and create the appropriate messaging to identify with the account leaders.
- Identify client opportunities through various channels: partner alliances, network, existing relationships and outbound prospecting – Hunter mentality.
- Leverage your existing knowledge of the FSI sectors (insurance, banking and capital markets), key clients, their business issues/problems and relevant data and analytics solutions.
- Coordinate the pursuit team to qualify client opportunities and drive the opportunity through the full sales cycle in close collaboration with the FSI practice professionals (industry SMEs) and capability owners.
- Respond to RFP/RFIs and build successful proposals positioned to win the client business.
- Build strong customer relationships with net-new and existing client executives and influencers (CxO, SVP/VP) in business functions, data and analytics functions and information technology
- Work with Wavicle consultants to leverage their networks, to learn about client initiatives, and increase new business opportunities
- Facilitate and host Wavicle sales and marketing events.
- Mentor and collaborate with other sellers within and across Wavicle markets.
- Work with client and company procurement and legal to work through contract negotiations.
- Ability to negotiate and close business to meet monthly & annual sales objectives.
- 5-7+ years of Financial Services experience, working for a bank, insurance company or an asset management firm or consulting for those.
- 5+ years of professional experience selling Data & Analytics consulting solutions (cloud, data platforms, business intelligence, data science, AI, intelligent automation) is required.
- IT consulting solutions sales experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives ($4M+annually).
- Strong ability to prospect, to identify new opportunities in both new and existing accounts – network & hustle.
- Identify new opportunities and manage both activities and pipeline using Wavicle process and CRM.
- Demonstrate the ability to think outside of the box on how to differentiate yourself and Wavicle.
- Excellent organization skills and time management skills. Must be detail-oriented, follows a rigorous sales process, and the ability to manage and forecast accurately are critical.
- Strong multi-tasker and strong follow through is essential.
- Strong oral and verbal communication / presentation skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communication, Computer Science or a related field is required.
