Form of work TekCom Resources is looking for an Associate Contract Manager in the Alpharetta, GA area. Can also reside in Phoenix, AZ, Houston, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, Mahwah, NJ or Miami, FL. This is a long-term contract role.

Job Duties:
- Assist Lead Contractor Manager to develop, implement and maintain long and short-term contractor contracting strategies
- Assist Lead Contractor Manager with vendor management within an assigned customer program, line of business or geographical location
- Maintain working knowledge of available contractors and skill sets
- Assist Lead Contractor Manager during negotiations strategies to secure best pricing and crew availability in line with capacity requirements
- Assist Lead Contractor Manager to monitor contractor performance and manage issue resolution / escalation process
- Supplier rationalization - assisting Lead Contractor Manager, this role will develop transition strategy from pre-defined or legacy contractor footprint to optimal footprint
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters for area of responsibility
- Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
- Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
- Monitor and complete contract close-out, extensions or renewals, as the program needs
- Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
- Ensure Lead Contractor Manager and internal stakeholders are aware of issues that will impact vendor pricing, crew capacity and scheduling
- Participate in internal deployment meetings as directed by Lead Contractor Manager, and interact with internal stakeholders as needed
- Communicate and coordinate with relevant functions and parties as needed
Background Our Client is Seeking:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of project and/or construction management experience
- Knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management, tower maintenance and vendor management
- Knowledge of site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting process
