What you will do:

ACEs focusing on Microsoft Solutions with our CDW Technology Services (CTS) team will partner with our lead engineers on the following:  

  • Review assigned service requests daily, follow up and provide status updates to clients; ensure data pertaining to the status of service request is entered into the problem tracking systems accurately and promptly to provide an up-to-date picture of service delivery status and backlog.
  • Addresses and updates customer incident tickets, providing customers, internal management and customer account managers with status information.
  • Take your collaboration to the next level by partnering with technical and business staff of customers and Microsoft technical support.
  • Provide detailed and effective communication to internal and external customers.
  • Clearly and concisely articulate problems and solutions for issues to clients through various forms of communication.
  • Member of on-call rotation to provide 24 X 7 support to critical systems and ensure availability objectives are met.  To provide the required coverage, must be willing to work other shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Identify and communicate potential opportunities for cross-selling to the sales team
  • Provide high quality content deliverables using the appropriate document templates
  • Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer’s satisfaction and approval
  • Provide entry level technical services
  • Ability to follow through with tasks, projects, and troubleshooting
  • Complete projects/tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to stakeholders and management
  • Handles several tasks simultaneously (ie: pre-sales, troubleshoots, responds to emergencies)
  • Communicates with Engineering Manager on all events that are not anticipated (new product requirements, equipment failure, design changes, schedule changes)
  • Responds to all customers professionally and courteously and relays any customer questions or concerns to manager
  • Collaborate and support cross-functionally with Customer Success and Sales.
  • Contribute to written proposals and technical documentation
  • Attends training sessions, and obtains industry related certifications as determined by management
  • Adheres to time compliance and time entry guidelines
  • Operations –Recognize opportunity for resolution and own what is needed to drive resolution, identify, and recommend support process improvements. Contribute to Collaboration team forums and provide feedback/questions to stimulate discussion, intellectual capital, and continuous process improvement.

What we expect of you:

  • One of the Following:
    • BA/BS including concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline OR
    • Associate degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology focused concentration plus 1 year of relevant practical experience OR
    • 1 year relevant practical experience plus one or more applicable technology related certifications (certifications to be in active standing) OR
    • 3+ years relevant practical experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Azure.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (can vary by location)
  • Ability to work select weekends and/or after hours when business needs arise
  • Authorized to work for CDW in the United States; immigration sponsorship (H-1B, TN, etc.) is not currently available for this position.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment
  • Microsoft Fundamentals certifications in Microsoft 365 and/or Azure.  
  • At least 1+ year or equivalent hands-on technical experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Azure.
