About the role:

In this entry level position, the Associate Concierge Specialistwill be accountable for supporting and driving new patient capture results within target accounts or throughout a designated geography. The purpose of this role is to raise awareness of Convatec products and support services with clinicians within the continuum of care and targeted customers in the Ostomy healthcare setting. The Associate Concierge will work alongside the Concierge Specialist to develop strong and supportive business relationships with target account leads to optimize business opportunities and drive overall sales. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong sales mentality and ability to provide outstanding customer service and support for Convatec HCP customers.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • US market focus, primary alignment with US Ostomy business regions.
  • Support relationship building with the assigned regional territories by promoting openness and mutual respect with the HCP’s and targeted customers
  • Exercise strong judgment and demonstrate ability to make timely decisions necessary to meet customer needs and business objectives
  • Ability to apply sound business acumen to ensure all customer interactions are aligned with ConvaTec’s business strategies and goals.
  • Strong ability to identify opportunities and target account leads using sales techniques and strategies.
  • Present compelling service offerings to HCPs to earn new name referrals
  • Manage the fulfillment of all Starter Kits and samples requests to meet customer needs via faxes, phones, and email.
  • Support Concierge Specialist with inbound and outbound calls to manage all day to day activity within regions.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the Concierge Specialist on activity within the territory.
  • Execute against Convatec’s business strategy and operating plans, by communicating and integrating that strategy through all activities.
  • Apply collaborative problem-solving skills to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with assigned regional territory managers to optimize support offering or pitch for a prospective account.
  • Work in partnership with Concierge Specialist to identify and address inefficient business processes.
  • Prioritize multiple business activities to deliver quality results within specified timelines.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and listening skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships with accounts; express warmth and compassion in verbal and written communications.
  • Display enthusiasm, flexibility, support and cooperation in performing job duties and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Participate actively in company and departmental meeting providing feedback and solutions as needed.
  • Assist and perform any other needed duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications/Education:

  • High School Diploma required /Associate’s degree preferred

Competencies:

  • Firsthand experience of working within the healthcare environment as well as wide exposure of the health care industry and its competitor’s a plus
  • Must have experience at handling inbound/outbound communications via the telephone and internet while maintaining a high level of efficiency, courtesy and professionalism
  • Previous experience with inside sales a plus
  • Must have the ability to support and maintain relationships with clinicians and targeted Convatec customers
  • Proficient in using and navigating multiple computer windows with excellent working knowledge of various applications is required
