CULLMAN CAMPUS - ASSOCIATE CAMPUS PASTOR

Job Title: Cullman Campus - Associate Campus Pastor
Direct Report: Cullman Campus Pastor
- Purpose of the Job:
The Associate Campus Pastor will assist the Campus Pastor in overseeing the growth and direction of a Daystar Church campus. The Associate Campus Pastor must be confidently called and passionate about Daystar, the vision, our culture, and systems. As a culture carrier and builder of people, the Associate Campus Pastor works to coach and align key leadership and Dream Team members.
- Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Weekly Responsibilities (between Sundays)
General Responsibilities
- Connect with Daystar members and others in the community.
- Assist with campus Leadership Pipeline, including identification, recruitment, and coordination of training of leaders.
- Attend weekly Service Tactical meetings to review order of service for the next 2 coming weekends.
- Continually build and maintain systems that will create growth at the campus.
- Meet regularly with Campus Pastor regarding campus operations and coordination.
Pastoral Responsibilities:
- Be available to lead/assist in crises, hospital visits, funerals, baby dedications and weddings.
- Complete regular bible reading/study to be prepared for any required speaking occasions.
- Provide pastoral biblical coaching and care as needed to Daystar Church attendees
- Continually pray and seek God on behalf of Daystar Church and its leadership.
Small Groups
- Oversee the big picture of campus small groups and mobilize the vision of Daystar being a “church of small groups” while working with the dream team to help with the logistics and execution
- Develop a pastoral oversight of small groups and create a system of pastoral care within small groups.
Outreach Team
- Oversee the big picture of campus outreach and mobilize the vision while working with the dream team to help with the logistics and execution.
Benevolence Team
- Oversee benevolence team coordinator, benevolence budget, and prioritize funds for most effective uses of benevolence fund availability in conjunction with Campus Pastor.
Budget/Facility Responsibilities
- Oversee campus maintenance staff & cleaning staff while modeling an ownership mindset regarding Daystar facilities and property.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- This description is not comprehensive, and other duties may be assigned as necessary for the overall health of Daystar Church.
Weekend Responsibilities (Sundays)
General Responsibilities
- Ensure the campus facility is opened, organized and prepared for services.
- Connect with Campus staff and dream team leaders, making sure all bases are covered throughout the day.
New Here Team & Campus Tours
- Oversee the big picture of the New Here team and mobilize the vision while working with the dream team to help with the logistics and execution.
Campus Security liaison
- Oversee security needs and communicate with the security team regarding upcoming weekend services and campus events.
Goals:
- Pursue a ratio of 1 small group for every 10 people based upon the average weekend attendance
- Pursue 100% monthly involvement on a dream team according to the average weekly number of adults in weekend worship
- Pursue an average of 6-10 attendees in Next Steps each weekend
- Pursue a 10% annual increase in weekend attendance growth
