- Work to acquire advanced Procurement skills and experience by supporting Program and Commodity Purchasing Teams
- Support Buyers in resolution of operational issues, including:
- Supplier setups
- Quote process
- Issuing and updating Purchase Orders (POs)
- Creating Sourcing documents including Business Award Summaries (BAS)
- Change Management (ECR/ECN)
- Supplier Problem Cases (PCs) and Cost Recoveries (CRs)
- Delivery and quality concerns
- Material Cost Performance System (MCPS) data management
- Plex (MRP system) Master Data Management
- Supplier payments, etc.
- Manage assigned commodity buying deck (Packaging, Grease etc.)
- Support achievement of annual SCM direct material savings target
- Fill pipeline and execute projects to meet/exceed individual cost savings target
- Quote and source all assigned components to meet /exceed project(s) business case and timing requirements utilizing Total Acquisition Cost (TAC) model
- Monitor, track & manage critical issues, develop backups, & ensure execution of supplier improvement plans
- Create Management reports and presentations as requested
