About Echo Point
Echo Point is one of the country’s largest online booksellers and (truly) independent publishers. We began as an environmentally focused partner to some of the largest print publishers in the world, helping to get their damaged inventory into readers’ hands rather than landfills. As a publisher ourselves, our approach is the same as a traditional publisher save for three crucial differences: we pay higher royalty rates, we rarely publish previously unpublished work, and we specialize in breathing fresh life into titles that have a timeless appeal; books under -appreciated or abandoned by larger houses but which still resonate with contemporary audiences.
Echo Point’s audio publishing division is the newest and fastest growing part of the company, begun in 2018 and nearly doubling in size every year since. Today we have a diverse catalogue of hundreds of audiobooks on topics ranging from social and racial justice, to psychology and self- improvement, to nutrition and exercise. What many of our most successful titles share in common is not being recognized as a “good” candidate for an audio edition by traditional publishers, and we’re proud to provide them a home here at Echo Point.
