Associate Attorney

Debski & Associates, P.A. maintains a statewide practice representing creditors and is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with litigation experience to join this Jacksonville based AV rated firm. The position promises extensive courtroom experience, including mediations, hearings, and trials.

Minimum Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school;
• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing;
• 2+ years of litigation experience including trial, discovery, and depositions (foreclosure, evictions, and collection experience a plus);
• Superior communication, writing, and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, developing cases from inception through resolution, and post-judgment recovery;
• Ability to meet, and exceed deadlines, client requirements, and management expectations;
• Regularly handle court appearances ranging from pre-trial conferences to trial;
• Communicate effectively with management, and clients to provide status reports, and progress reports; and
• Occasional travel within the state of Florida will be required.
