Associate Attorney - Contract/Temporary (Remote)

Responsibilities:

· Assist senior attorneys in handling insurance defense matters, including research, document preparation, and case management.

· Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to develop strategies and arguments for cases.

· Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

· Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.

· Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.

Requirements:

· Must have a valid Florida Bar membership.

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

· While experience in insurance defense matters is not required, candidates with relevant legal experience will be preferred.

· Strong legal research and writing skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

· Proficient in using legal research tools and technology.

· Compensation package:

$150-$200 for hearings remote; $250 for deposition/meditations; $250-$350 for in person hearings/depositions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
