About the Job:
Duties:
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
- Prepare and file legal briefs and other court documents
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Attend meetings with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
- Independent manage case files from start to finish
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of California
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience with legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
- Proficiency in using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis for legal research
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of Civil Litigation experience
Compensation:
- Compensation will vary depending on qualifications and experience.
