Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This role will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, offering a wide range of legal services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, business planning, probate, elder law, and trust administration. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients in estate planning, business planning, probate, elder law, and trust administration.
- Draft and review legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and other estate planning tools.
- Help clients develop business plans and strategies, providing legal advice to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings and manage all aspects of the probate process.
- Advise and assist clients on matters related to elder law, including long-term care planning, guardianship, and elder abuse cases.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, fellow attorneys, court officials, and other stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of current laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide sound legal advice and ensure the firm's practices remain compliant.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and client meetings.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, adhering to the firm's code of ethics and standards of practice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, business planning, probate, elder law, and trust administration.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
