Summary
The Associate Art Director role will conceptualize, design, execute and provide oversight on creative marketing for brand-wide campaigns, projects and seasonal launches. Role will require cross-functional collaboration, high-level creative vision and elevated design standards between brand, print and digital collateral.
Responsibilities
- Work with leadership on concept development, design and execution of creative marketing, conceptual materials and special projects
- Lead brand initiatives and special projects
- Maintain brand identity and elevate brand through innovative creative-thinking and tactical design excellency
- Creatively interpret and implement businesses initiatives and strategies
- Build and present thorough presentations to gain cross-functional alignment on creative marketing vision
- Ensure creative alignment across graphic design, copy and visual merchandising.
- Keep up with current trends in retail marketing, design and applicable design technology
- Manage a team and develop talent by inspiring, coaching and continuously evaluating
- Proactive and thorough with sharp focus on consistency and efficiency in speed-centered environment
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years of experinece as an Associate Art Director or Sr. Graphic Designer in retail, fashion or cosmetics industry
- Experience in creating brand/product vision and strategies
- Strong tactical design skill and ability to set/maintain elevated creative standards
- Advanced presentation skills to communicate creative vision and bring innovation to the business
- Ability to inspire, develop, and lead graphic designer(s)
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Design, Art or equivalent experience
