Best and currently have an Associate Actuary opportunity available in our corporate office. This position will focus on pricing of our personal auto products. This position must also conduct data studies to analyze profitability and competitiveness, and produce internal and external data reports as needed.

This position must also conduct data studies to analyze profitability and competitiveness, and produce internal and external data reports as needed.
Duties:
- Manage actuarial rate indications and provide actuarial support to company rate filings.
- Create advanced pricing models, such as GLM, using statistical software.
- Prepare special data studies and reports.
- Oversee company compliance with statistical reporting requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Actuarial, Product Management, and Business Intelligence Departments on company projects.
- Train/mentor actuarial staff on methods and company practices.
- BA or BS degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related field provided there is a strong concentration in Mathematics.
- ACAS or FCAS credential is required.
- At least 4 years of insurance experience is required.
- Strong EXCEL skill is required.
- Experience with SQL, SAS, or R programming is preferred.
- Experience with creating GLM-based pricing models is preferred.
