Assoc Mgr Media Strategy
The Associate Manager, Media Strategy will support the strategy and activation of holistic media plans across a portfolio of Bayer Consumer Health (BCH) brands. They will work closely with the Media Managers to develop media strategies/plans to deliver on brand marketing goals. They will support the monthly budget management and tracking process and manage the campaign launches across channels. They will support the development and tracking of creative across brands. They will also review media performance and make recommendations on optimizations to the plans. This role requires a balance of strategic, digital, creative and analytical thinking. This role requires a heavy emphasis on digital media and understanding of the Search, Social and Programmatic space.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Manager, Media Strategy, are to:
- Contribute to the development of best-in-class holistic integrated media plans to meet brand objectives;
- Partner with the Digital Platforms team to plan and optimize media performance and user experience;
- Manage media budget summaries and monthly budget actualizations;
- Partner with creative agencies and internal team to manage creative asset delivery/tracking;
- Support execution of in house digital media model;
- Increase performance of media channels as measured through DPC and/or ROI.
WHO YOU ARE
Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our life values, more specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required;
- Understanding of Search, Social, and Programmatic media;
- Proven ability to develop operational plans to support enterprise and brand level strategy development;
- Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple effective manner;
- Strong knowledge of digital strategy development, digital strategies, channels and measurement / analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 6 years in Marketing activation (Digital Marketing, Media, Advertising) preferably in consumer packaged goods;
- Experience in healthcare marketing;
- Agency/ Marketing / IT background.
