The selected candidate will teach 12 to 15 credit hours of undergraduate level courses each semester from
the college’s curriculum in the Esports Video Game Design major program, to include supervision of
students in laboratory, research, and field experiences. Participation in professional meetings, conducting
scholarly research, academic advisement of students and service on various college committees represent
additional duties.
A Master’s degree in Video Game Design is the minimum qualification for this position. However, an
earned Ph.D. in Video Game Design or a related area along with previous college-level teaching experience
is strongly preferred.
