The Assistant Coach is responsible for all phases of developing and maintaining a successful Athletic Program at the College through their support of the Head Coach. This is a part-time seasonal position.

Examples of Duties
  • Recruitment of potential student-athletes
  • Practice preparation
  • In and out-of season training
  • Game/match day management
  • Retention of quality student-athletes
  • Ensures the success and safety of student athletes on and off the field
  • Monitors team members' academic progress and performance, and makes referrals to the appropriate College departments to enhance student's academic success.
  • Assists with all facets of athlete eligibility certification
  • Responsible for the safe transportation of team members to and from away contests
  • Adheres to all NJCAA, Region 19, RCSJ and Athletic Department rules and regulations
  • Responsible for fundraising and development of alumni and community relations
  • Possesses the ability to be a team player within the Athletics Department and the College
  • Performs duties of the Head Coach in his/her absence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport is required.
  • Associate’s degree required
  • Valid driver’s license, which is currently in good standing
