1849 SW Salmon St, Portland, OR 97205, USA Req #717
Wednesday, January 3, 2024

Multnomah Athletic Club is more than Portland's most legendary hub of sports and socializing. It's like a small city unto itself. Where else can you find four restaurants, three pools, a climbing gym, state-of-the-art studios and fitness suite, a complex of racquet sport courts, full massage and physical therapy offerings, a boutique, plus a grand ballroom and variety of events spaces all in one place? To say that every employee of MAC has room to move is an understatement almost as big as MAC's 600,000 square feet of recreational possibilities.

Want a career with a future? A campus worth exploring? A one-of-a-kind community on which you can have a direct impact? MAC is all of those things and more.

Main Duties:

  • Share your passion for tennis by conducting private and group lessons with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base. Your mission is to ensure member needs are met and that you enjoy your weekly hours on the court.
  • Be a tennis advocate! Promote the sport, suggest classes, groups, and teams to members, and champion good sportsmanship within MAC and the larger tennis community.
  • Collaborate with our Head Tennis Coach/Manager on quarterly schedules. Your input on the best classes and optimal times will make our tennis program even more vibrant.
  • Create engaging lesson plans for group classes, aligning them with class titles, levels, and goals.

Additional Roles:

  • Be a guiding star for team captains during the playing season.
  • Ensure our class rosters are well-maintained, aiming for maximum occupancy and promoting classes to our members.
  • Keep things in order by verifying private lesson billings and maintaining accurate class rosters.
