Our growing childcare facility is looking for a Teacher Assistant who can help to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children's development. The Teacher Assistant will be responsible for monitoring and teaching the children in our program, assisting in developing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively and partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school. Teacher Assistant responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents
- Deliver reports on potential concerns about students as to management as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
- Create activities that are fun and educational for the children
- Manage day-to-day classroom activities
Skills Required:
- 2+ years' experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of State Licensing standards
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
