Our preschool is seeking a caring individual who is dedicated to the education of children. Our center embraces children's natural curiosity and imagination to inspire within them an excitement to learn. We value hard working, creative individuals and are seeking a candidate that is passionate about working with children and education. Our goal is to provide the children with opportunity to explore and learn about new materials in a warm, nurturing environment. We also work hard to reinforce sign language with our little learners to assist with early language development.
Available Hours needed for position: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities for children
- Provide support to students with special education needs, including working with children on the autism spectrum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development
- Assist with behavior management and promote positive social interactions among students
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Support students in developing literacy and math skills through age-appropriate activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in early childhood education preferred
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with parents, staff, and students
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
