Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and daily activities
- Support classroom management by ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for students
- Provide individualized attention and care to students
- Help with behavior management and redirection when necessary
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to create a positive learning environment
- Assist with mealtime, naptime, and other caregiving duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students, such as babysitting or nannying, is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in early childhood education is a plus
