Job Descriptions: Assistant Store Manager
Starting Salary Range: $40,000 to $45,000

As our Assistant Store Manager, you will play a critical role in our store's success by leading a team of knowledgeable hardware professionals and providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers. You will work closely with our Store Manager to oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and staff training and development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of hardware professionals to provide excellent customer service
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving merchandise
- Train and develop staff to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional service
- Assist with merchandising and creating attractive displays to showcase our products
- Help to ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and a customer-first mentality
- Assist the Store Manager with other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a hardware retail environment
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping people
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
