Our business is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in retail and has a background in management. The Assistant Store Manager will report directly to the Store Manager and work closely with customers and employees to ensure all company policies are being followed. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service and will have a high level of accountability for all departments in the store.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor customers, ensuring they receive fast and accurate service.
- Assist in hiring, training, and supervising store personnel.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve problems with merchandise or service.
- Answer phones and route calls to appropriate staff members.
- Assist in training other employees as needed, such as with cash handling procedures and new customer-service programs.
- Assist in the planning of company events, such as company picnics or annual conferences.
- Review employee performance evaluations and complete open-to-close counts.
- Evaluate employee performance and handle disciplinary actions accordingly.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
