Assistant Store Manager

```Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations. You will assist in managing the store team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Supervise and train store staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and services
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including stock replenishment and merchandising
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to meet sales targets and maximize profitability
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Manage employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Use point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Perform administrative tasks such as cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and reporting

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail management role or similar position
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training employees
- Knowledge of stock management techniques and inventory control principles
- Ability to negotiate with vendors for favorable pricing terms

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
