Assistant Sign Paint Technician

About the Role:

The Assistant Sign Paint Tech works directly with our Painter. Reporting to our Shop Manager, this position is full-time, some weekends required. Our ideal candidate will exhibit reliability, high attention to detail and accuracy, thrive in a dead-line driven environment, who desires to learn and grow within the trade for a busy Tempe sign company! Experience painting, specifically in the sign industry is a plus, but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to: sanding, masking, prepping and painting
• Mix paint using provided formulas on a consistent basis
• Maintain a clean and organized work space
• Utilize our user friendly software to see incoming projects and update Project status

What we require:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work independently and is self motivated
• Must be able to succeed in both individual and team environment
• Ability to read, understand and follow work order instructions in English
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with proficiency in English
• General PC Skills

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience in paint specifically in Sign Industry
• Knowledge of HVLP paint spraying, gun use and maintenance
• 2+ years of Painter experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
