About the Position:
This is an executive leadership position, and the incumbent will be responsible for handling complex programmatic, budgeting, hiring, and supervision assignments. This position serves as a member of the Department's Office of Strategic Partnership and Community Solutions Office within the Department of Social Services leadership team and is supervised/evaluated by the Senior Program Manager.What You'll Do:
Program Management
1. Oversee the implementation of the annual school plan, needs assessment, goal-setting case plan, as well as evaluation of school data collection tools.
2. Collaborate with internal and external teams such as the PGCPS Office of Community Schools to support the initiative's quality and effectiveness.
3. Support the assessment of program strengths and identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential barriers.
4. Monitor and analyze data to make appropriate recommendations to the Senior Manager regarding efforts to meet OSPCS goals.
5. Remain abreast of current research and policies related to community schools, family engagement, community development, and other human service-related topics.
6. Attend all internal meetings and professional development training as required.
7. Provide ongoing support to the Senior Manager.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Resource Development
1. Provide leadership and oversight to ensure the implementation of quality partnerships with agreed-upon scopes and conditions.
2. Lead efforts to identify grant-funding opportunities and assist the Senior Manager with developing appropriate responses to grant applications.
3. Maintain consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to share updates regarding success and partnership opportunities.
4. Assist in the development of program reports, correspondence, promotional material, and other documents to support a project.
Supervision
1. Manage OSPCS new employee orientation and professional development sessions to onboard internal staff on policies, procedures, and overall service delivery model.
2. Maintain frequent check-ins with School and Community Engagement Managers to guide staffing issues, professional development, and other barriers.
3. Manage OSPCS parent engagement initiatives, out-of-school time services, and other related partnership supports.
4. Manage OSPCS social media/communications content in collaboration with the Administrative Coordinator and PGCDSS Communication team.
5. Ensure the Administrative Coordinator processes all payments to vendors, consultants, and facilitators promptly.

What You'll Need:
- Master's degree in human services field- education, community development, social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or related field.
- Minimum of seven to ten years, of experience managing education, counseling, community development, or family program.
- Experience providing direct and indirect supervision to program staff, partners, and vendors.

- Ability to lead, inspire, motivate, evaluate, and counsel subordinate staff and delegate responsibility to them as appropriate.
- Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish/English.
- Experience leading or working in a large and fast-paced urban/suburban Human Services Agency.
- Lived experience.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Upon selection, the candidate must:
