Job Details
We are seeking a Sales Engineer Assistant to be mentored and trained by the current Senior Sales Engineer with the goal of eventually taking over his position. The position will be working fully onsite at the Burgettstown location until fully trained. Once trained you can work every Friday remotely.
Job Duties:
- Support the VP of Sales in all aspects of sales and marketing.
- Creating weekly/monthly reports in Excel for leadership and sales manager(monthly forecasting and quotes).
- Creating and Pay for installations and service for direct sales orders.
- Talking with dealers/customers on the phone. Occasional travel in the field to meet customers and dealers.
- Coordinates dealer/customer training.
- Manage, Monitory and update Salesforce in use for Quoting and Order entry.
- Creating and Pay for installations and service for direct sales orders.
- Support inside and outside sales teams in regards to customers needs about engineering, manufacturing or field service questions
- Answering customer questions and resolving their issues.
- Assist the sales team with new product roll outs
- Implements improvements in our sales processes.
- Market study and analysis on our products vs. the competition. Support with creation of marketing material.
- Ownership of Logbook, daily updates.
- Analysis of quote to close ratio and identifying any disconnect between actual cost & costs in SAP.
- Questionnaire development for High Performance doors.
- Working with the sales team to continuously improve order processing.
- Implement strategic and companywide quality policies and procedures that will reduce field failures
- Coordinates dealer/customer training
- Help create a quality check system for the inspection of many new outsourced materials that increased the quality of incoming products.
- Create door pricing matrix for new models. and monitor and report on pricing.
Education and/or experience
- BS in Engineering or related field preferred but not required
Education and/or experience
- BS in Engineering or related field preferred but not necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and word.
- Not necessary but preferred, Sales Force & SAP knowledge.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be willing to work flexible and additional hours if needed.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Technically savvy
- Proficient in MS Office, Intermediate to Advanced Excel.
- Previous experience using Sales Force & SAP knowledge.
- Ability to absorb a lot of information.
- Must thrive in a fast paced continuously changing work environment.
- Thrives on collaborating with and supporting others (internal/external customers)
- Must be willing to work flexible and additional hours if needed.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
