- Primary responsibilities are to teach in the on campus and in-person undergraduate, prelicensure nursing program in theory, clinical, and lab settings.
- Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs.
- Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field, provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities .
- Contribute to curricular and programmatic assessment, evaluation, and continual refinement.
- Contribute to student growth and development including student advising.
- Support Minnesota State University Moorhead's strategic priority of creating a campus community that is diverse, inclusive, globally aware, and just.
- To develop and implement curriculum within a team-teaching model of instruction for a nursing curriculum with emphasis on quality, safety, health, healing, holistic nursing, diversity, equity, and inclusion
- To be considered for tenure, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate (IFO Article 22, section B) :
- Ability to teach effectively and/or perform effectively in other current assignments,

- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Must meet Higher Learning Commission [HLC] faculty credentialing guidelines [e.g. have 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline the faculty is teaching].
- Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching and experience with lesson, course, and curriculum development
- Minimum of three (3) years of Nursing practice experience
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in teaching/working with persons from diverse backgrounds
- Current unencumbered RN license
- Master's Degree or higher in Nursing or related field
- Experience in university teaching in baccalaureate or graduate nursing
- Experience in teaching nursing education online, hybrid, and on campus
- Experience in holistic health and healing principles
- Experience developing and using student-centered, active, and experiential learning strategies, including using a variety of technology and platforms (ie ATI, D2L, Simulation, NGN, Teams, Zoom, Outlook, AI)
- Experience assessing student academic achievement
- Experience working with national accreditation and Boards of Nursing
- Current unencumbered RN license in MN and ND
