What You'll Do - Position Responsibilities

• Teaching: Teach students (both graduate and undergraduate) face-to-face in the classroom and online
• Research: Publish in academic journals and attend academic conferences; conduct internally and externally funded research
• Service: Display leadership and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of college and department programs; participate in department, college, and university committees, and other activities associated with professional status and perform duties essential to the college and university mission; perform related duties essential to the university teaching profession

• Knowledge of Construction Management: Deep understanding of Construction Management theories, frameworks, and concepts; proficiency in analyzing and evaluating project management decisions and their implications for organizations.
• Research Skills: Strong research background demonstrated through publications in reputable academic journals.
• Teaching Excellence: Ability to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate courses, online and on-campus, in construction technology, engineering and management; skill in developing course materials, syllabi, and assessments aligned with learning objectives; proficiency in employing diverse teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning.
• Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including students, colleagues, and industry professionals.
• Analytical and Critical Thinking:
• Capacity to apply critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to strategic decision-making processes.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Capability to collaborate with colleagues within the academic department and across disciplines; leadership skills in guiding student organizations, and academic initiatives.
