Assistant Principal - Lehigh Valley Academy (Grades 9-12)
Position Overview:
Lehigh Valley Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our dynamic staff as an Assistant Principal. In this role, you will work closely with the Principal, faculty, staff, and students to ensure safe, high-quality educational experiences, and to promote academic achievement for all students in grades 9-12.
Qualifications:

• Education: A BA/BS degree is required. A Master's Degree or completion of a Principal Certificate Program.
• Certifications/Licenses: Pennsylvania Principal Certification is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences:

• Proven communication and community-building skills.
• Demonstrated progression in professional experience toward leadership.
• Knowledge of school law and special education.
• Proficiency in technology and data literacy.
• Classroom teaching experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• School Culture: Assist the Principal in managing and cultivating school culture through proactive programming and strategic actions that support student behavior and achievement.
• Teacher Development: Collaborate with the Principal in supporting teacher development and evaluations, ensuring the professional growth of our educators.
• Facility Management: Assist the Principal in overseeing school facilities, systems, and events to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Student Support: Provide guidance and support for the Dean of Students, the Student Support Specialist, and Lehigh Valley Academy's truancy program, code of conduct, and discipline practices.

Additional Information:

• The work schedule may be adjusted as needed to provide coverage for after-school programs and events.
