North Memorial Animal Hospital is now hiring a groomer’s assistant. We are looking for some exceptional people to join our staff! Candidates must provide excellent customer service, be able to work well as a team and have a willingness to continue learning. To best serve our current client base, we are searching for someone who is looking for a long-term commitment. Selected applicants will be an employee of North Memorial Animal Hospital, receiving a W2 with all proper taxes paid by the employer. Candidate must be self-motivated and able to take initiative. Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist professional groomers in all aspects of pet grooming, including bathing, brushing and nail trimming.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting pet owners, addressing their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Learn and adhere to grooming standards and techniques as directed by experienced groomers.
- Handle and restrain pets appropriately to ensure their safety and the safety of the grooming team.
- Administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, maintaining client records, and checking in and out clients.
