GENERAL SUMMARY
The LDA Assistant Media Planner’s primary responsibility is to work directly with a Media Planner on Eastern LDA Regional markets. The AMP will learn all aspects of spot market media including spot TV/Cable, spot radio, newspaper, local magazine, out-of-home, local digital and some exposure to sponsorships/event marketing. The AMP will also gain a broad base knowledge of media terminology, media options and basic media planning.
Day to Day:
Goal Entry / SBA issuance to Zenith.
Update and maintain flowcharts/budgets and related documents.
Budget and billing reconciliations.
Create insertion orders (Digital, Print, Out Of Home).
Assist with POVs, ultimately doing them by themselves.
Media/Market Research (CMR, IMS, Kantar, comScore)
Establish strong working relationship with our broadcast buyers at Zenith & Field Account team.
Assist with Digital buys and metrics reports.
Assist on market plans, ultimately managing some markets themselves.
Participate in the implementation and maintenance for all Western Area media campaigns.
Assist team with Heavy Up/Cut Recommendations, ultimately doing them by themselves.
Support and generate ideas to support an “Ideas Culture” agency.Experience:
Prior media internship experience is a plus.
Computer literate, with some experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
A solid understanding of basic math, especially algebra, would be ideal.
Experience in proper business communications a plus.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player that likes working in a large groups.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style.
Pace of Work: Work flow varies by day and by season. Some requests have an extremely pressing turn-around time, while others can be managed more slowly. Financials and planning reports are completed on a monthly basis. Buy reviews are done quarterly for LDA.
Qualifications

Compensation Range: $35,000.00 - $52,000.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
