Position Description
The University of Mississippi's Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor or Associate Professor position beginning August 2024.
The Department has a need for an economist who specializes in Law and Economics, specifically whose research considers the importance of institutions and/or discrimination in labor markets. The candidate will teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as contribute to our undergraduate emphasis in Law and Economics and our 3+3 program with the law school.
A Ph.D. completed by August 2024, is expected.

Applicants must provide a CV, one working paper, and a graduate transcript. Three (3) letters of recommendation should be submitted on JOE. The letter of application should describe current and projected research and teaching interests.
