Assistant Nurse Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership, manages, and coordinates activities of an assigned nursing department.
- Participates in the coordination of patient care and departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission statement and values
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
- BSN preferred.
- Two years progressive nursing experience in an acute hospital preferred with outstanding leadership skills documented Thorough knowledge of specialty nursing principles, methods, and technique
- Able to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professional, and families.
- Considerable ability to manage, coach, and provide motivated environment.
