SUMMARY
Provide a clean, friendly and fun experience for our guests by assisting the Mountain Adventure Park Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations at the Mountain Adventure Park during operating season and assisting in preparation for operating season both in the fall and spring months. Duties include assisting the Mountain Adventure Park Manager with hiring and training staff, budget management, and leadership of staff toward department goals. Communicate regularly with immediate supervisor and other company departments/personnel to plan, coordinate, and evaluate activities, exchange information, and resolve problems. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
  • Assist in the planning, supervision, and coordination of daily park operations.
  • Helps prepare the Mountain Adventure Park facility preseason for operating seasons, including but not limited to the Mountain Coaster, Giant Swing, Soaring Eagle zipline, Bungy Trampoline, inflatables, Kids' Ropes Course, Tubing, and any other attractions.
  • Assists Mountain Adventure Park Manager in training and supervision of the Mountain Adventure Park Staff, including positive reinforcement and any necessary discipline.
  • Helps manage the day-to-day operation of the park and serves as manager on duty when needed.
  • Assist Mountain Adventure Park Manager to maintain schedules in compliance with regulations and authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Administer and document staff training, to include weekly safety topics, attractions training, daily maintenance inspections and other duties as assigned. Utilize resort guest service policies, exceeds set service standards, and ensure they are carried out effectively to attain targeted service goals.
  • Communicate Net Promoter Scores to staff members and effectively utilize this information to motivate & reward staff.
  • Provide a safe and clean work area at all times.
  • Provide superior service to our customers internal and external guests by following our guest service standards and expectation. Work with department Manager to enhance the guest experience.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with planning, assigning, and directing work assignments for a department of 50-75 employees. Consistently appraise the performance of park employees and reward or coach through different situations. Take control of any guest complaints with urgency. Perform daily maintenance checks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two to five years of supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office; ability to quickly learn additional applications.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License.

SCHEDULE
The Mountain Adventure Park Supervisor is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Hours vary based on season and business volumes. The typical schedule is five (5) days a week. 8-10 hours a day, and between the hours of 7am and 9pm. Weekends, holidays, and vacation weeks are included. During peak business volumes, functions, and special events, late evening and/or overnight hours may be required.
