The Assistant Men's Soccer Coach will aid the head coach in all day-to-day activities to run the soccer program. The Assistant coach will also be tasked with running the junior varsity program in all aspects, including games.
Typical functions listed below are examples of work performed by positions in this role and are not intended to be all-inclusive. Some duties may overlap levels; however, the preponderance of the work will be assessed when assigning positions to specific levels.
- Provides direction for student-athletes at practices and games.
- Enforces policies and procedures and implements disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Monitors student-athletes academic progress and acts as an advocate for student-athletes.
- Identifies resources for student-athletes necessary to assist in their athletic and personal development.
- Develops overall team strategy and works with personnel to develop and implement special team strategies.
- Identifies talent and performs recruitment activities for student-athletes.
- Identifies and develops relationships with donors and participates in major fundraiser events.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- CPR Certification
