Principle Purpose of the Position:

As an Receptionist/Assistant Manager, you will report directly to the owner and provide support to front desk receptionists and therapists. You will be responsible for warmly greeting clients, booking treatment appointments, answering phone calls, assisting and making seamless transitions from a client’s check in to check out. All candidates must have exceptional communication skills and must be willing to contribute to our mission and the overall growth and success of The Floating Lotus Spa. Some basic, yet necessary job duties and responsibilities include:

• Greeting clients upon arrival in a positive, professional manner
• Maintain a professional standard of attitude and attire at all times
• Completing seamless checkout transactions/money handling
• Schedule appointments using our spa software while referring to therapist/esthetician schedules

Notifying therapists and estheticians about upcoming appointments

• Gain knowledge of services provided by certain therapists/estheticians, service rooms, etc.,
• Answer phone calls professionally
• Restock any products that we may have sold
• Keep waiting rooms and overall spa neat and tidy
• Make over the phone schedules
• Maintain cleanliness of front desk area/around the spa
• Have computer and social media skills
• Gain knowledge of our products

Candidate Requirements:

• Exceptional communication for customer service and staff interaction - required
• Exceptional attention to detail - required
• 25-30 hours a week and some Saturdays and Opening shifts are required
• Minimum of 3 years management or leadership position
• Proficient on the computer for scheduling
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team
• Friendly & Professional
• Some college education preferred

Hiring for long-term, with seasoned management or lead position skills

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Work Location: In person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
