Job Overview:
Assists General Manager to manage all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality.
Essential Job Functions:
*Maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel
*Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding to guest needs
*Maintains a positive work environment between staff and management
*Ensures all personnel files are accurate and comply with both local and federal laws
*Maintains turnovers levels
*Answers the phone in a professional and cheerful manner
*Make phone and walk-in reservations
*Acts as the manager on duty for the hotel and manages all front desk operations
*Resolves any employee or guest grievances in a fair and timely manner
*Makes weekly schedule for front desk and breakfast associates
Additional Responsibilities:
*Any other duty as assigned by the General Manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Hotel experience preferred but not necessary
* Must be able to problem solve in order to resolve guest issues that may arise
*Able to provide exceptional customer service
*Must be able to respond to emergency situations
*Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
*Computer literate
*Exceeding organized and efficient with the ability to multitask
*Able to work in a fast-paced environment
*Must be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership
*Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal*
*Able to work all shifts
*Some overtime may be required
