The Retail Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager with overall business and administrative aspects of the location to ensure quality and provide superior service to our customers and communities.
Primary Responsibilities
Assisting the General Manager with the following:
- Ensuring a superior service experience to every customer of the location.
- Meeting location sales and profit objectives.
- Controlling expenses and budget maintenance.
- Recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and managing location staff.
- Following and ensuring adherence to company safety policies by all staff.
- Directing store personnel to ensure maximum productivity and quality.
- Sustaining and growing the location’s positive relationship with its community
- Adherence and enforcement of established company policies.
- Adherence and enforcement of all applicable laws and regulations.
- Completion of administrative functions for the location
Skill Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimum direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to quickly comprehend new ideas and instruction
Education Requirements
High School or Equivalent
Driver’s License
1-2 years Automotive Experience preferred
