Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented candidate to support the Senior Manager on all phases of development of high quality clean products that meet the Founder’s vision and the Brand quality expectations. This position will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, Product Development and cross-functional partners to ensure the successful execution of our Product Development life cycle across product categories including Eyes, Lips, Face, Skincare and more. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Product Development.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management of all stages of Product Development to ensure launch deadlines are met.
• Create comprehensive internal and external recaps; cross-functional and vendor recaps, preliminary product briefs and claims testing briefs.
• Collaborate with various departments, including R&D, Marketing, Design and Supply Chain to ensure seamless communication and execution throughout the development process.
• Monitor project timelines and milestones, identifying potential roadblocks and proposing solutions. 
• Assess all re-order product submissions including pilot, first production, and standard batch in a timely manner; Communicate desired modifications or approvals to the lab and/or vendor for production batches. 
• Help establish standards from the lab through first production; Monitor reformulation progress and continually update production standards. 
• Foster partnerships and cultivate relationships with both internal and external partners.
• Maintain meticulous records of all submissions, scale-ups, and standards to ensure consistency throughout the development process.
• Help drive ongoing development of new product concepts, track key trends, stay current of the competitive landscape; including competitive shopping, gather social listening insights, leverage analysis, and perform category research.
• Track and fulfill sample requests for cross-functional team needs of upcoming launches.
• Document and monitor crucial information for product launches (including the standards list), organizing appropriately on internal department drive.
• Oversee shipping logistics of critical packages being sent to and from the labs for key members of the team.
• Keep and organize all physical samples received from the labs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree In Product Development or a related field
• 2-4 years of industry specific work experience; clean, prestige beauty, preferred
• Capable of working with a strong sense of urgency, while maintaining a high level of integrity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a successful track record working with diverse cross-functional teams
• Proven experience effectively managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on ensuring product quality and adherence to brand specifications
• Demonstrated adaptability in the face of change, thrives on meeting deadlines and motivated by new challenges
• Exceptional organizational aptitude, time-management skills, execution ability, and an unwavering attention to detail
